Beginner Card with In Bloom, #simplestamping

I love to feature Simple & Stepped Up Stamping most weeks on my Thursday Facebook Lives.  It's a great way to help new stampers with a beginner card and then step it up just a bit by adding a little something.  The Stepped Up version appeals to casual stampers as well as those of us who stamp every week!

Each month Stampin' Up! gives us a #simplestamping challenge and for March it is:

  1. Stamps
  2. Ink
  3. Paper
  4. Embellisment

Today's beginner card uses In Bloom stamp set which is a real bargain for just $17.  It is so versatile, and I absolutely love the bold, pretty greetings.  For today's #simplestamping card I chose a bright, bold color scheme resulting in a card with a feminine, modern look that especially appeals to young girls and women.

For the second card I added in some of the die-cuts to step up the card just a bit.  Pierced Blooms dies are extremely versatile, just like their coordinating stamp set.  These items are NOT at bundle price because they were introduced in a previous catalog.  Nevertheless, they are great value, and super fun to play and create with!
