I love the way this card turned out and am so happy to share it with you today! I created this card as one of the projects for my Online Club featuring the Stamp in' Blends Markers (Stampin' Up! alcohol markers). I wanted a super classy look for my "Lady in Blue" since her dress and hat make for a stunning, classy ensemble. She needed to be the main focus, so everything else in my handmade card is there to enhance her and make her take center stage in my design.
For the background, I chose one of the designs from True Gentleman Designer Series Paper with a subdued, classic print. I think menswear can be very, very elegant on women and, it provides the perfect backdrop for my Lady in Blue. Minimal embellishments were all the finishing touches I needed for my Lady in Blue. I chose a few rhinestones to scatter across the card and Whisper White 1/8" Sheer Ribbon–both of which I colored with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blends Marker so they would match perfectly.
Although I did a bit of "fancy footwork" with my Stampin' Blends Markers in order to achieve my Lady in Blue (see the stamp set below and you will see what I mean!), everything else on my card is quick and easy…and elegant!

This is one of the classiest version I have seen with fun stamp set. It is beautiful! Thank you for your great use of color and and imagination. Also this is such a versatile stamp set- can be used for so many different occasions.
