I'm back today with another card from the Badges & Banners Bundle in the new Stampin' Up! catalog. I created this masculine card for my recent training event where we made 16 projects. And we used almost every single stamp in the Badges & Banners Bundle! You can see a previous post here using the same Badges & Banners Bundle with a totally different look. The stamps and coordinating punch give you TONS of creative options and great value.
Dapper Denim is one of the 2016-2018 In Colors, and it's a natural for masculine cards. It's a really nice navy, aptly named denim as it has a blue jeans vibe, for sure. Here, I paired it with Tip Top Taupe, one of the 2015-2017 In Colors. I love the way they work together, and the new Mini Striped Ribbon (available in the 2015-2017 In Colors, has a lovely, soft feel and drape and its richness can really dress up a project.
I also really, really like the new Metallic Enamel Shapes. If you have not yet checked them out, you should! You get both gold and silver in circles, stars, and hearts. So the little star accent here is a tiny enamel shape that is just right to catch some light and bring a bit of subtle shine that is still appropriate for a masculine card. The enamel shapes also come in colors, but you can't beat the versatility of gold and silver. I love that they are quite flat, so they are perfect for easy mailing.
