Abstract Impressions Stamp Set Card Idea

Remarkably Created Blog HopWelcome to the Remarkably Created Blog Hop where demonstrators are sharing…ALL THINGS NEW, new catalog ideas, of course!  You are at Candy Rattray, sweetstamper.com, and I'm so excited you are here!  The full list of Stampin' Up! demonstrators on this blog hop is all the way at the bottom of this post, so check that for reference or in case you get lost in the cloud! LOL

My share for you today features Abstract Impressions stamp set (photopolymer), and I'm seriously in love with it!  There is a set of coordinating thinlits–that are equally gorgeous!  But for today's card, I'm featuring the stamps alone.  I did use the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper which also coordinates with Abstract Impressions stamp set and coordinating thinlit dies.  There is a whole suite of products with this, and it is all stunning!

This handmade card comes together quickly and easily.  But the colors make it very eye-catching.  I paired one of the new Stampin' Up! colors (part of a big color revamp in this year's catalog), Mango Melody with 2 old favorites–Night of Navy and Smoky Slate.  The 2 neutrals are the perfect contrast to really showcase Mango Melody.

The patterns in Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper remind me of Vera Bradley prints.  I love every single pattern–they are just gorgeous!  Pairing that paper with gingham ribbon seemed like a great combination.  They remind me of two complementary fabrics.

Okay, that's it for today.  This is my very first card featuring new catalog products since it launched on June 1st.  I've been so busy doing things behind the scenes that I have had NO time to blog.  But I'm back!  So come back tomorrow for more creative inspiration:)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Now head on over to the next blog on the hop for more new catalog fun!
