I am absolutely loving the Merry Patterns hostess free stamp set that was just released! Oh, my! It's a good thing I decided to do a mini series of blog posts, because I can't stop creating with it! This is Day 3 in a mini-series of blog posts highlighting it. Once again, I have a quick and easy Christmas card for you.
For today's share I have a Christmas in blue theme going. The silvers and blues and grays of Christmas evoke thoughts of snow and ice. With the Merry Music Designer Series Paper, I decided to go in a little different direction by bringing in a silver bell–because silver bells have become another iconic image of Christmas. "Silver Bells" is actually one of the songs listed on this piece of paper from Merry Music DSP. My little silver foil bell is the perfect finishing touch for my quick and easy Christmas card.
I used the exact size for the greeting on this Christmas card featuring Merry Patterns as I used on the one in a previous post (click here to see it). I love having elements I can repeat in different designs by simply changing colors.
This is one of the designs we are making at my Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack on Friday night. Check out my calendar here, and join me for one of my many upcoming events if you are in the San Antonio area. I love stamping with people!!! Don't give up on me if you don't live in my area–some of my classes have an online option:) Simply read the descriptions and the online option will be indicated if available. Come back tomorrow for more Merry Patterns host stamp set inspiration!
