Mini Treat Bag Thinlits

I am not exaggerating when I say I'm in love with this Big Shot die!  Although there are many fabulous Stampin' Up! dies for the Big Shot, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits is my current favorite.  It's versatility allows me to use it for treats as well as pocket cards.  And there are stinkin' cute little elements that bring so many options for handmade cards, treats, 3D items, even scrapbooking.  I love it!

Mini Treat Bag Thinlits

This is a pocket card I created for a Stampin' Up! challenge:  #punchitup on Pinterest.  The challenge was to use 2 punches, any combination of the following:

  • Fun Flower Punch
  • Pansy Punch
  • Sweetheart Punch
  • Confetti Hearts Border Punch

I chose the two flower punches and just layered them on a pocket made with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and tucked in a little note, using the Pansy Punch to create a tab or handle to pull out the note.  My color combo made this striking!  I used the Cherry on Top DSP for my color inspiration.  Stampin' Up! DSP is a regular color combo inspiration for me:)

And then I blinked it up by stacking a Very Vintage Faceted Button, silver sequin from Metallic Sequins Assortment, and a Pearl.  My final result is bold, bright, and blingy!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Below are all the Stampin' Up! supplies used above.  Simply click on any of the product photos to be whisked away to my online Stampin' Up! store where you may shop/browse/be inspired to your heart's content.  Or just click on the link below my name.  Options!
